“So the return of a library book which is 113 years overdue, sends a reclusive Dutch librarian on a globe spanning odyssey. Fun in Vancouver City: NO PANTS SKYTRAIN RIDE. Annual Global Stunt that will see pants drop on mass transit in Vancouver on Sunday 2:30pm, January 11, 2015.

“People are looking for a reason to drop their pants”. The fun global event is organized every year by Vancouver Improv Anywhere.  Participate or just join the fun at Stadium Station just a few blocks from the Victorian Hotel in downtown Vancouver.

This year the event will draw hundreds of participants packed on the Expo Line at the starting line on  Commercial-Broadway Station  and ending at Stadium SKYTRAIN for photo opportunities.  The mission is to make people laugh.  No Pants SkyTrain Ride has become so big that it’s like a party on a SkyTrain  and yet the event still retains its shock value and surprises commuters!  For more specific details, visit the official No Pants SkyTrain Ride Facebook event page.

The event originates with New York’s Improv Anywhere, which held the first No Pants Subway Ride in 2002. It will be Vancouver’s 6th Annual No Pants event this 2015.  Follow @ImprovAnywhere on Twitter and the tags #NPSR and #Standupandplay for more information about the event and the after party.

Where: Broadway Skytrain Station (ground level)

When: Sunday January 11th

Time: 2:30pm – 3:30pm

“The no pants skytrain ride is an annual global event. The mission is simple: you ride the skytrain with no pants. How it works – you board the train once the doors are closed you stand up and remove your pants”.
