Additionally, Notch8 at the Fairmont is offering the Great British Tea Party, sporting vintage décor, bunting, Union Jacks, and even a red telephone booth. Food on offer includes Coronation Chicken, roast beef and stilton, and egg salad tea sandwiches; Eton Mess; scones and Devonshire cream; and UK-inspired pastries.
For those looking for something truly unique, try having a meal while suspended 50 metres over Vancouver. Dinner in the Sky brings Vancouver chef Ned Bell on board to cater for this year’s event. Running until September 3rd, the staff ensures that you and your guests are safely strapped in around a communal table for an unforgettable experience.
For something a little less costly and a lot more playful, the Richmond Night Market is always worth the trip. Running Friday to Saturday from 7pm onwards, this event offers midway games, vendor booths, live entertainment, and, of course, lots and lots of food. The market consistently showcases an impressive range of options for shopping and eating, with over 100 food stalls and 200 vendors. Lastly, not far from the Victorian Hotel, the Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar is having its Sunday Seafood Boil throughout August. Every Sunday, Executive Chef Roger Ma and his culinary team unveil a bounty of fresh-caught seafood and invites guests to pull up a chair and tuck in. This seafood feast is served with all the fixings, including Boulevard’s signature bacon cornbread and sweet beignets for dessert.
