Summer is one of the best times to pack up and enjoy a picnic outdoors. Enjoy some lunch and the view of Vancouver at some of our favorite picnic spots. Our ultimate guide will help make your next weekend adventure more “al fresco” and less stressful!

A few tips to make your next adventure a success:

  • Freeze water bottles & drink packs ahead of time and place in your cooler. It will melt as the day goes on and you’ll end up with chilled beverages.
  • Bring along plastic garbage bags to clean up at the end of your picnic. Most locations have waste cans, but sometimes there aren’t any and you’ll want to be prepared.
  • If possible, try packaging your food in plastic (non- breakable) containers to avoid getting anything spilled or broken.
  • Don’t forget cutlery, plates, napkins, and a blanket. These items are essentials that will help you be fully equipped for your adventure.
