“Second stay - and perfect again”
This is the second stay in The Victorian hotel – it literally is perfect and such good value. we love the gorgeous kind staff – the location which is perfect – and the quaintness with a modern twist feel. I honestly don’t think we would stay anywhere else when we visit again. Thanks for a lovely stay!

“Cozy and charming”
What a wonderful gem in the Gastown neighbourhood of Vancouver. Originally built in the late 1880’s the hotel has been renovated keeping the old-world charm of exposed brick walls, high ceilings and furnishings and couples it with modern bathrooms. Room 29 overlooks the backlane which while not scenic was wonderfully quiet. It was also adjacent to a powder room and two washrooms with showers. Our room came equipped with a sink, soap and robes. The bedding was impeccably clean and comfortable. The hotel was a very manageable walk from the Granville sky train station even with a carry-on suitcase. The hotel staff were friendly. Various savoury and sweet danishes, yogurt, fruit and granola were served in the front lounge which doubled as secure luggage storage. Even though we checked out in the morning the hotel staff were happy to keep our suitcases all afternoon while we enjoyed the area. We would absolutely return and recommend to others.

“Refurbished old darling”
Not sure what it was before, but the refurbishment of the Victorian Hotel is remarkable. The rooms are large, the beds comfy and the shower is nice and hot. Close to Gastown, Yaletown and downtown, it has all you need. Would stay again.

“Charming, Clean, Convenient”
Me and my husband had a great stay in the Victorian hotel this weekend. The location is unbeatable, rooms are large & decorated with a mix of well-maintained vintage and modern finishing’s furniture & amenities. All the staff were world class friendly and helpful. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. And the cleaning staff ensure top quality cleanliness throughout your stay. Fun fact, we learned that the Victorian hotel is the longest running hotel in Vancouver. We absolutely will be visiting the Victorian hotel again when we come back to Vancouver.

“Fabulous old hotel”
Excellent location to walk all over downtown Vancouver. Beautiful old character building lovingly restored. Reminded me of so many old character apartment buildings that used to be all over Vancouver but have been demolished at an alarming rate. Very bright, helpful friendly staff, perfect bed, brand new bathrooms, very affordable price for Vancouver- I don’t know how I’ve gone this long not knowing this hotel exists! I will definitely recommend it to everyone I know and continue to stay here when I go through Vancouver

" Great place to stay"
Had a great time at this hotel. The staff is lovely, and so helpful and friendly. The property is very clean, and the beds are VERY comfortable!! ITs nice and quiet too. Great location and walking distance to many of the great attractions in beautiful Vancouver.

"Victorian Charm"
I love this Hotel. The historic feel of this hotel is so wonderful. The price is right. The staff is pleasant and thoughtful, and the rooms are beautiful. We love the location. The overall casual feel adds to a relaxing and comfortable stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

"Best place to stay"
I stayed here for a night but it has by far been the best place I’ve stayed throughout my entire trip at Vancouver. A small hotel situated near downtown is the most comfortable, clean and quiet place. I loved the rooms, they were tiny, cozy and Victorian like. The best part was that even though everyone on the floor used one bathroom it was seemingly clean! I am a solo traveler and this by far worth the money I spent.
