Grapefruit Summer Water
Mix grapefruit juice and homemade jalapeño-infused tequila for a sweet and spicy cocktail.
Ingredients:
1/3 c. fresh pink grapefruit juice
3 tbsp. simple syrup
1 1/2 oz. Spiced Tequila
Sparkling Water (such as Topo Chico)
Pink grapefruit wedges, cilantro sprigs, and sliced jalapeño for garnish
Directions:
- Spread salt on a flat plate. Dip the rim of a 12-ounce glass in water and then in the salt.
- Fill the glass with ice and top with grapefruit juice, simple syrup, and tequila; stir to combine.
- Top with sparkling water and garnish with grapefruit wedges, cilantro sprigs, and sliced jalapeño.
Earl’s Affair with Rosemary
This is one of the Victorian Hotel’s all-time favorites!
Ingredients:
1.5 oz GIN (BOTANIST OR EMPRESS) from BC
1 oz Lemoncello
.75OZ Egg White (1 egg white fresh frothed, pure on top)
.75 oz Simple Syrup with Earl Grey Tea infused
.75 oz Lemon Juice freshly squeezed.
1 sprig of Rosemary or Western Red Cedar
Directions: Add Gin, Lemoncello, and Earl Grey Syrup into Martini Shaker with ice. Shake Well, and filter pour into a Chilled Martini Glass. Add frothed egg white into a shaker and shake, and filter pour-over cocktail. Garnish with a fresh Sprig of Rosemary.
BlackBerry and Maple Lemonade
The perfect mock-tail for your patio!
Ingredients
3 blackberries (or berries of your choice)
2 sprigs of thyme
2 oz lemon juice
1 oz maple syrup
Sparkling water
Directions:
In a shaker, mash your berries with the thyme sprigs. Add the lemon juice, maple syrup, and ice cubes. Shake for 5 seconds. Filter it and serve on ice.
Garnish with a lemon slice, a blackberry and a sprig of thyme.
Mason Jar Watermelon Frosé
Best refreshing summer drink.
Ingredients:
1 c. rosé wine
1/3 c. watermelon juice
1 mint spring, for garnish, optional
Directions: Combine rosé and watermelon juice in a 16-ounce mason jar. Attach metal lid and screw band. Freeze for 1 hour, then shake the jar once. Continue freezing and shaking the jar every 30 minutes until the liquid is slushy, 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Serve garnished with a mint sprig, if desired.
