Recently this trail has reopened and it is the perfect way to take in the beautiful views of the West Coast. On a clear day, the Tunnel Bluffs hike reveals the most extraordinary views of Howe Sound, Bowen Island, Horseshoe Bay, the Sea to Sky Highway and the Sunshine Coast. The hike to Tunnel Bluffs in the town of Lions Bay is definitely one to add into your itinerary. Especially in the fall. This stunning coastal hike does not disappoint.

The exciting reward after a moderately difficult hike is when the sky opens up as you reach the edge of the bluff and the trail begins to reveal the expanse of the ocean with breathtaking views. This is also a trail that is highly recommended for sunset as it faces West and the sunsets here are truly unforgettable. Just be sure to have headlamps or flashlights to navigate on the way down safely.

Also, pack lots of layers as it does get cooler up top. And remember to always leave no trace.

It is important to plan and prepare for your hike and be ready for anything that you may encounter.
